KBS (Korean Broadcasting System) strives to become a window into the world that provides joy and emotion to domestic and foreign viewers through various media in Korea.
TV broadcasting has started in 1961, and a public broadcasting system was established in 1973.
KBS provides 4 terrestrial TV channels (HD1·2TV, UHD1·2TV), 7 radio channels, 4 terrestrial DMB broadcasting channels, and new media services such as my K.
KBS is concentrating all its capabilities on producing high-quality contents, and by broadcasting these contents not only in Korea but also around the world, it is contributing to the globalization of Korean culture while promoting the excellence of Korean culture.
